Dear Prospective Owner

Thank you for your interest in a Deaconfield puppy.

As a member of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme, all puppies go to their new homes with a Puppy Sales Pack which includes:

• Kennel Club Registration Document
• Five Generation Pedigree
• Sales Contract
• A week's supply of Puppy food
• Five weeks free Kennel Club Insurance
• Written advice on all aspects of puppy rearing including feeding, vaccination, worming and training
• First vaccination - your vet will need to administer the second vaccination to complete the course
• Micro-chipped
• Support and Advice throughout the dog's life.
  
  

Initially, may I ask you to complete this short questionnaire so that I have some idea of your family situation and how a Beagle would fit in with you.

• Have you a preference for a dog or a bitch?
• have you had a beagle / dogs previously when you and your husband/partner were growing up? If so what type?
• other pets?
• why do you want a beagle?
• how well fenced is your garden?
• have you time to exercise the dog?   At least one hour every day?
• do you and your wife/husband/partner both work?
• if so, how long for? How long will the dog be left for?
• what will you do with the beagle when you go on holiday?
• children? How many and their ages?
• how well organised are you?
• have you researched into the breed?
• what part of the country do you live in?
